GOA Catamaran has once again received the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice 2022 award in recognition of being one of the best boat rental companies for day charter and boat rental by the week in Ibiza and Formentera according to the customers of this world-renowned travel website.
It is not easy to maintain this level of quality of service and private excursions. It is a daily work of skippers, backoffice staff and cleaning and maintenance staff as well as a strong investment every year in new boats and keep the current fleet updated and in perfect condition to sail and to enjoy our islands, the Pitiusas. Nor can we forget the effort GOA Catamaran makes to maintain the highest standards of safety at sea as well as the commitment we have to preserve the environment of the Balearic Islands through our Ecological Responsible Statement

What are the Travelers’ Choice Awards?
The Travelers’ Choice awards honour travellers’ favourite destinations, hotels, restaurants, activity companies and more, based on reviews and opinions collected from travellers around the world on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period.
Travelers’ Choice recognises businesses that consistently earn good reviews. Travelers’ Choice winners are always among the top 10% of Tripadvisor listings. Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice rewards these businesses for consistently demonstrating their commitment to excellence in hospitality and customer service.
It is not easy to be in this select group because the competition is enormous but the quality of service, customer care and the care of the boats and catamarans in the fleet mean that only a few of us are chosen in Ibiza and Formentera every year.
In 2023 we will have a fleet of seven catamarans and a motorboat perfectly equipped that will make you feel in a floating hotel with all the comforts of an accommodation and in the middle of the sea to explore the coast, diving, paddle surfing, approach the beach clubs of Ibiza or simply enjoy a dinner on board with your friends and family in the moonlight.
How are winners selected?
Travelers’ Choice winners are determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period, as well as an additional editorial process.
To be eligible for an award, a travel service company such as GOA Sailing S.L. must have been listed on Tripadvisor for at least 12 months, must receive a minimum number of reviews within the judging period for that award and must maintain or exceed a minimum rating on Tripadvisor. In the case of specific sub-categories of awards such as nautical activities, boat trips at sea, additional criteria such as the type of guest experiences or services offered may apply.
Tripadvisor can verify and contrast all customer reviews directly with them to ensure that they are real because the basis of these awards is credibility, trust in customers who comment and upload photos of their experiences.
